ZTI offers high precision GPS synchronization solutions, GPS timing solutions and computer time synchronization devices. Suitable for networks or individual workstations or machines, our GPS timing solutions, computer time synchronization devices and GPS synchronization solutions can be run on Windows, Unix or Linux platforms, delivering synchronization and reliable, accurate timestamping essential for fields such as security, broadcasting network synchronization and legal services.

Timekeeping technologies such as the GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites and Network time protocol (NTP) provide real-time access to a close approximation to the UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) timescale, and are used for many terrestrial synchronization applications.
Our GPS-based synchronization receivers can synchronize a single PC or a complete network of computers and devices.

 Time Software

 ZTI offers dedicated solutions for precision timing applications with guaranteed accuracy of 1 millisecond
 by using a Ethernet NTP time server and ZTS software on client's computer. Thus ZTS offers to applications
 a very precise and stable clock reference.

We are developing at present a new software named ZTS-PTP to support the IEEE 1588 PTP standard. 

The Precision Time Protocol (PTP) which is defined in the IEEE 1588 – 2002 and - 2008 standards enables precise synchronization of clocks in multicast capable networks like for example Ethernet. By using hardware to generate precise timestamps for messages, synchronization accuracy within some 100 nanoseconds can be achieved. Such precise synchronization is needed in measurement and control systems as well as in other distributed systems (source: Institute of Embedded Systems - Switzerland).
No distinction is made in the protocol between a software clock and a hardware clock. With a pure software solution, the synchronization accuracy may be in the microsecond range as synchronization errors due to software jitter cannot be avoided.
