ZTI presents three IP software testing tools on PC in a Windows environment that can be used in various situations:

. to configure IP equipment (gateways, NAS, terminals, routers  ...),

. to test and measure IP equipment performance,

. to test and stress IP applications and products, e.g. Voice over IP, Video and Fax over IP ...

 

. to manage network bandwidth (traffic-shaping).

 

. to view and control all traffic statistics.

 

These tools are particularly useful, and are well appreciated by operators, ISPs, telecom equipment manufacturers, test and qualification labs, integrators, and network administrators to analyze behavior and network sizing.

 

 

These products allow the operator to detect, to diagnose and to forecast problems associated with management of IP networks, such as:

. the use of applications requiring a guaranteed bandwidth,

. the incidence of PC and workstations multiplication on an IP link,

. the random use of the network bandwidth,

. the impact of packet management algorithms by the routers introducing loss packets and / or delayed packet transmission.

IP Traffic Generator (TCP and UDP) and measurement tool for IP networks (IPv4 & IPv6): wired, WiFi, WiMax, satellite, mobile, cellular, PLC ....

Software testing tool that can run on any PC with Windows 98, 2000 or XP. It can generate, receive, capture and replay IP traffic, and measure end-to-end performance and Quality Of Service over IP networks.
The use of an external GPS kit provides an absolute reference clock. This allows time stamping of IP packets sent or received, and measurement of QOS parameters over the IP network used.

This tool manages 32 IP connections (16 sending and 16 receiving connections) by offering wide choices of parameter settings and traffic visualization. Each sending connection (TCP or UDP) can have parameters set individually to generate various traffic shapes, and each receiving connection (TCP or UDP) can be configured into several working modes: 'echoer', 'absorber', ...

 

NetDisturb

 

Impairment tool for IP networks (IPv4 & IPv6.

Software testing tool for PC with Windows NT, 2000 or XP and two Ethernet (10/100/1000) NICs. Placed in disturbance point between two IP segments, NetDisturb allows to delay, lose, duplicate or modify IP packets according to rules defined by the user. Two working modes are available: Ethernet (packets order is preserved) or Internet(desequencing authorized).
