A: LanTraffic V2 is an IP traffic generation application. The performance is only limited by the throughput communication link used (LAN or WAN), and characteristics of PC and OS used.

A: You can use any LAN NIC (Network Interface Card) operating under Windows with LanTraffic V2. It 's not mandatory to use a LAN NIC, you can use a WAN equipment (e.g. ISDN, PSTN, ...).

Q: Can LanTraffic V2 generate constant load UDP and TCP traffic?
A: Yes, by using the interpacket delay parameter. For UDP connection, you select a fixed packet size and an interpacket delay related to the desired throughput at the Winsock interface. For a TCP connection, the mechanism is the same, but a constant load is more approximate (due to the TCP acks and segmentation mechanism).
