LanTraffic V2 is a software testing tool allowing UDP and TCP traffic generation over an IP network.

This traffic generator can be set with a large set of different parameters and manages 32 simultaneous IP connections (TCP, UDP, ICMP or SCTP).

Lantraffic V2 allows unitary and load testing with diversified characteristics and traffic-shaping.

LanTraffic V2 is composed of two parts, the Sender and the Receiver.
. the Sender portion generates up to 16 simultaneous IP connections (TCP, UDP, ICMP or SCTP).
Connections can be generated with two different working modes:

	- in the unitary testing mode, the user can select traffic generator data source, and configure packet size and inter-packet delay for each connection,
	- in the automatic testing mode, the user selects one mathematical law for connection generator starting time and another mathematical law for data volume to be sent.

. the Receiver portion receives IP traffic (up to 16 simultaneous connections).
Each connection may be configured in one working mode: echoer, absorber and file absorber (received data are saved in a user defined file)

Various testing configurations can be established using more than two PCs. LanTraffic V2 establishes TCP or UDP connections between PCs over the IP network.

LanTraffic V2 is operating on a Windows PC with a LAN or WAN link and requires 1024 x 768 screen resolution (Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 or Vista).

The LanTraffic V2 man-machine interface is very simple and efficient. The user can access each connection to specify traffic parameters and visualize traffic statistics.
